Surprised to find (what we suspect are toad) tadpoles in our largest pond yesterday. They had hind legs and a good number also had front legs. There were a good number, at least one a metre round the sunny side of the perimeter (perhaps 150 metres) and a few on the dark side.
Is it normal to have (toad) tadpoles at this time of year ?
Mike.
